Based in Seattle, Washington, ShawTea Milk Tea was founded in 2018 by a self-proclaimed milk tea connoisseur that had always dreamt of opening up her own business and wanted to bring the highest-quality milk tea to anyone, wherever they lived.

For most of her life, S, our founder, was always on the hunt for the best milk tea around. However, after traveling around the United States and Asia, she realized that not all milk tea is created equally. In some areas of the United States, the most popular spots with the “best milk tea in town” serve up drinks made with low-quality ingredients. These drinks weren’t made with quality and locally sourced ingredients like the ones she had a taste of in Asia. As someone who is passionate about milk tea, S wanted to find a way to bring high-quality milk tea to everyone’s doorstep.
